s I celebrated with a coffee cake from Panera Bread. I realize this is not really a donut. However, it was free! That is right, the entire thing was free! I went to have tea last night with a friend at the Panera by my house and one of my Central/Lighthouse/Capitol Hill girls (who is now a young lady, high school graduate, mother) works there and when they closed, she gave it to me! She also introduced me to her co-workers as "one of the people who raised her." Which made me feel choked up, proud of her and kind of old. I guess I have kids everywhere I go.
Anyway, Happy National Donut Day. Please celebrate by eating something sweet!

Yes, I heard TODAY that Krispy Kreme was giving out free donuts YESTERDAY. I'm SO bummed I missed this amazing day! How could this have happened when I've been CRAVING donuts on a daily basis?! I haven't given into it yet...I'm still on a Taco Bell kick. Oh, the gloriousness of being pregnant and having every excuse to eat total crap. : )
