My friend Lindsy does great birthday dedications to her friends. In fact, I believe I have been the recipient of one such dedication.
So, to show my support of her, I am dedicating this post to her for her graduation from graduate school! This has been hard work for her and I can sympathize! I am really proud of her for her hard work. So here are my top 5 favorite things about Lindsy:
1. She and I became friends at a very difficult time in my life and she immediately warmed my heart with her friendship. I am truly thankful that she supported me and encouraged me during this time. I will never forget that.
2. She is very funny. Lindsy finds the humor in life and I love to read her funny insights on her blog!
3. She is a great cook. When we first became friends she and Sister #1 cooked dinner for a group of friends at their house every Sunday night. She quickly invited me to be a part of the dinner group and not only did it mean a lot to be invited, I also got to eat some really good meals. I contributed excellent salads from time to time.
4. She is fun to travel with. Honestly, Lindsy and I have only taken one big trip together (she got sick when we went to St. Louis and had to come home). But Winter Olympics and Europe on Speed 2006 was an incredible time! And she is a great travel companion. I would go with her anywhere in the world. Well, I didn't want to go to Beijing this summer, sorry Linds!
5. She is not afraid to ask the tough questions about life, and while she is patient, she challenges me just at the right times. I love this kind of friend. I appreciate our daily conversations through email because they challenge me and encourage me!
Anyway, way to go Lindsy on your graduation! You worked hard and it will (already has) paid off.

AWWWW thanks! That is the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me. WOW a post dedication. I'm not going to lie, I about started crying. However, I didn't because I didn't want the guys at work to make fun of me. This means the world to me...thank you so much. I'm so blessed to have you as a friend.
