Last weekend I went to IHOP with a few good friends. It was so good to have the opportunity just to sit at the feet of Jesus. I am so thankful for the change within me that created a desire just to sit with the Lord. Quite a change from the constantly-busy, always doing something, working and trying to do it all on my own person that I used to be. Praise God who makes all things new!
This weekend I had foot surgery. Yuck. I was classified "non weight bearing" for several days which means that these are my best friends.
It would be an understatement to say that this has really challenged my independent nature. Thankfully I have plenty of people to help me out.
Hopefully within a few weeks I will be walking unaided and with no more pain in my foot! New!
