On my mind

I am borrowing Lindsy's idea and sharing with you some letters I have recently been wanting to send.

Dear Doctor #1,

Thanks for doing those first two foot surgeries on me and leaving a screw in my foot that was too long. I loved all those months of walking around in pain to learn that every step I take was like having a nail driven into the bottom of my foot. Sorry to tell you, I got a new doctor for the third surgery.

Thanks for the pain,
Holly

Dear Doctor #2,

Thanks for figuring out the problem on my first visit with you and fixing my foot before I get married. Now I can walk down the aisle without wishing I could cut my foot off.

All the best,
Holly

Dear Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market,

Generally I love to spend time with you since you are close to my house and not as crowded as your big brother. However, I have noticed lately that your selection stinks. I mean really, how hard is it to carry sweet pototoes and kiwi??

Still Hungry,
Holly

Dear Post Office,

I know you have to make money but is it really necessary to continue to raise stamp prices? Right as I have to send out millions of thank you notes and wedding invitiations. Don't worry, I will be buying forever stamps this weekend for all of my correspondance.

I'd rather email cause it's free,
Holly

Dear Facebook,

Stop changing stuff.

Love,
Holly

Dear Garden Ridge,

You are huge. Why don't you carry the buckets I want for my wedding? How hard is it for you stores to just HAVE WHAT I NEED??

Disappointed,
Holly

Did the flower pots not work?

Nice letters. Don't you feel better? I'm telling you, this is like therapy. Ok, so you might not agree, but for me it is. :)

I'm glad your foot is better.

Touche on Walmart Neighborhood Market. Their produce section stinks.

Yes, I am going with the clay pots, but I wanted those metal ones! And yes, I felt better after doing this!

Hey Holly! I happened to find a link to your blog today when I was reading my sisters blog and saw your post about metal buckets you are wanting for your wedding. You may have already found what you need, but I used the metal ones for our wedding and thought I'd let you know where we got ours (mind you it was 5 years ago). I used big metal buckets for the centerpiece and got those at Lowe's and ordered mini metal buckets to put candy in from oriental trading. Anyways, just thought I'd mention that in case you were still trying to find some. Congrats on your upcoming marriage! Your pics look awesome! :) ----Kristie Speer
