It has been a busy week! Mariela and Amber came in on Monday night and we have been going strong since then. Mariela is on her first trip to the USA and has marveled at things such as:My Dishwasher ("That washes the dishes and you don't have to do it by hand??" She has been begging me to run it!).
My Garage Door Opener ("Can I open the door?")
The Carpet in my House (She has never seen carpet before)

At the zoo! It was so hot but a great trip.
She loved the animals (and she loves posing for pictures so I got lots of practice with my new camera!
Eating her new favorite fruit -- a peach! She has never had them before and keeps begging me for them.
