Unwanted

Today, I found this amazing website of Ryan Scott Bomberger. He has a very powerful story and truly makes us face the truth that an abortion ends a life.
I encourage you to visit www.shouldhavebeenaborted.com.

Things I like

Chicken Salad Sandwich from Chick-Fil-A. This is amazing. Also packed with calories. It keeps me full all day, not an easy task.

Diet Vanilla Coke. Me and every other woman in Oklahoma. I am so not original. I need to get back on that no caffeine or carbonation, only water thing I did for a few years. That was so good for my body. But it wasn't as fun.

Psalm 63. The Lord is good and He is victorious. Just listen to a few of the words from that passage:

A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling.

God sets the lonely in families

You gave abundant showers, O God; you refreshed your weary inheritance

The chariots of God are tens of thousands and thousands of thousands

Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens.

Foot Surgery. Just kidding. I hate foot surgery, but since I have had three in the last 10 months, it has become a part of my regular routine. And yes, I realize that picture is disturbing (that is not my foot). Even more disturbing is that there actually used to be a nail in my foot but thankfully it is gone. And my foot feels better.

Engagement Pics

Our wedding just about 6 weeks away. I am so excited. And I am praying that the recent tropical rainy season that we have been experiencing will stop so that we can get married outside!!

I never posted these here, but I LOVE THEM! Amy Nickerson took our pictures for us and I think she did an awesome job.

On my mind

I am borrowing Lindsy's idea and sharing with you some letters I have recently been wanting to send.

Dear Doctor #1,

Thanks for doing those first two foot surgeries on me and leaving a screw in my foot that was too long. I loved all those months of walking around in pain to learn that every step I take was like having a nail driven into the bottom of my foot. Sorry to tell you, I got a new doctor for the third surgery.

Thanks for the pain,
Holly

Dear Doctor #2,

Thanks for figuring out the problem on my first visit with you and fixing my foot before I get married. Now I can walk down the aisle without wishing I could cut my foot off.

All the best,
Holly

Dear Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market,

Generally I love to spend time with you since you are close to my house and not as crowded as your big brother. However, I have noticed lately that your selection stinks. I mean really, how hard is it to carry sweet pototoes and kiwi??

Still Hungry,
Holly

Dear Post Office,

I know you have to make money but is it really necessary to continue to raise stamp prices? Right as I have to send out millions of thank you notes and wedding invitiations. Don't worry, I will be buying forever stamps this weekend for all of my correspondance.

I'd rather email cause it's free,
Holly

Dear Facebook,

Stop changing stuff.

Love,
Holly

Dear Garden Ridge,

You are huge. Why don't you carry the buckets I want for my wedding? How hard is it for you stores to just HAVE WHAT I NEED??

Disappointed,
Holly
