12 Months Minus 2

Olivia Grace you are 10 months old today. I just cannot believe it. This has been an eventful month full of milestones for you. Every day is such an adventure full of laughter and fun. What a wonderful blessing you are!

Olivia you love to swing and be outside in general. It finally cooled off enough that we have been able to go to the park and sit outside. It is like a whole new world to you! After being inside the whole 100 degree summer, I am not sure you knew the outside existed.

Case in point: "Mama, I have a blade of grass!"

You started Sonshine School this month. Your teachers say you are the best and sweetest student. I know that is true. You don't like to eat or take a bottle while you are there, so we are working on that.

You started crawling on Friday, September 16! You had been scooting along for a while, but not really crawling. We were in your bedroom, folding clothes and you tentatively took off for a toy you had never seen that was in your closet. Within a week you were crawling all over the place. Our lives just got a lot more interesting and a lot faster pace!

I like this picture for a few reasons. The first is that you are raising one finger up, something you do a lot. It is just a funny little thing you do. But in this picture, you are playing shy. Which is another funny little thing you do. You finally got to wear the high top tennis shoes that Aunt Von gave you. You are not at all sure about shoes, but they sure are cute.

And finally, you have cut your first tooth. You were really fussy for a few nights and finally yesterday I felt around in your mouth and felt that tooth! It has just barely popped through.

Sweet girl, you are just a joy. Happy 10 months of life!
