Number One

Olivia it is your first birthday! We celebrated with your family and close friends this afternoon. It was such a fun little party. You are such a joy and it is hard to believe that you are one year old. You are growing and changing so much.

You weigh right around 19 pounds. We don't go for your one year appointment until next week when we will get all of your stats. You love eating table food now. You really like meat, green beans and peas. You are finally sleeping really well. You have had a few 10 hour nights, but you usually wake after 8 hours or so, need a little pat or rock and go back to sleep for 4 more hours. You sleep so well at night that you only nap an hour and half or so during the day.

You have four sweet teeth. You cruise along the furniture and you can stand on your own for several seconds. Tonight you walked behind a little push toy that you got for your birthday. You still love dogs, the color yellow, going outside and things that are round. You have lots of opinions and you are not afraid to share them. You have recently decided that getting your hair washed is the WORST of all punishments and you scream, cry and attempt to climb out of the tub for the duration of hair washing time!

Olivia, you are just such a blessing. Being your mom is the best thing I could ever think of. Happy birthday sweet girl!
